Today marks International Women’s Day and it gives us a much-needed opportunity to reflect on the progress women are making, the challenges we
face ahead and how we can work together to support mutual growth, happiness and success.


Did you know…? Sexual and reproductive health problems are responsible for one-third of health issues for women between the ages of 15 and 44 years. Today, the WHO talks about women’s health through the life-course in Ten top issues for women’s health.


Did you know…? The theme for this year’s international women’s day is “Time is Now: Rural and urban activists transforming women’s lives”.
Following an unparalleled global push for women’s rights, equality and justice, sexual harassment, intimate partner violence and discrimination
against women are now front-page stories and very much part of everyday conversation.
